HAM Radio and Australia and Astronomy
My Ham station in the years passed. This pictured is a HF rig that has the capability to talk aroud the world. I got my certificate the same time my girl got hers along with my Son Randall later.. This was a great hobby for us all these years. We use some sort of Ham Radios' each and every day. It is a great hobby. You should look into becoming a ham. dit dit da da diti
After my Son Randall got his ham liceense he would talk to Australia every night to this T/V technician every night. They became good friends to the extent that son wanted to go down and meet him. We left for Sydeny soon afterwards and took the guy an road atlas of the world, which he had requested. After a vacation of 10 days in Sydney we rode a Greyhound bus to Melborne with a stop in Canberra. It was a bus with a transparent top so with our great interest in Astronomy we really enjoyed the overnight trip. Southern Cross was beautiful as we drove south. We made a stop and dropped off the Atlas for Randall and my Radio friend.
This was a beautiful trip to the country "down under". I always said if I get kicked out of the USA I want it to be kicked to Australia. Write if you find work....rf

From one Ham to another.......
That's a very, very neat and tidy Ham Station!
I have never seen one so clean!
Are you sure it's operational?
