The Logo We Use in OUR CLUB ---Hurst Texas
The goals of the Hurst Amateur Radio Club are to aid in disaster and emergency communications, to promote the proper use of amateur radio, to educate the users of amateur radio and to engage in other non-profit and charitable activities. Members serve as weather watchers for the National Weather Service, as crime watchers to aid local law enforcement agencies, and furnishing communication service for charitable fund-raising events.
The club was chartered in 1966 with 16 members and has functioned continuously since.
We welcome visitors at all meetings wich are held on the THIRD MONDAY of each month at 7 PM at the Hurst Texas Public Library.
