Left Wing Leading Edge of DC-3 in CR SMITH Museum

On the left wing of OUR DC-3 FLAG SHIP KNOXVILLE The Landing light has 2 Bulbs ....Can any one identify the 25 Watt BULB..."what is it's purpose"???
