Our Teacher on the Last Days of Nero.

This is a photograph taken Thursday night of my son, Randall, an Anglican priest, as he taught the final summer installment of this "Thursday night class" at St. Vincent's Cathedral. The topic of the class was "Hollywood and Early Christianity." We watched The Robe and Quo Vadis in installments, then discussed ancient sources reflected in each movie. The final class session dealt with the big finish of Quo Vadis and the final days of the Roman emperor Nero. A good time was had by all.

The next class begins in early September, and will cover The Apostolic Fathers of the second century A.D.
